Background
The Salt Lake City Military Entrance Processing Station (MEPS) is responsible for processing applicants into the Armed Forces. The goal of this contract is to provide noon meals to these applicants during their processing period, ensuring they are adequately nourished while undergoing the necessary evaluations and procedures.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide noon meals (sub sandwiches) for Armed Forces applicants at the Salt Lake City MEPS. This includes:
1. Preparing meals in a state/local licensed facility or restaurant.
2. Transporting and serving boxed meals to MEPS applicants when called for by the contracting officer or authorized representative.
3. Securing parking arrangements at the MEPS location and providing a cart for meal delivery into the facility, which is on the first floor.
4. Complying with security screening protocols upon entering the building, allowing 5-10 minutes for this process each day.
5. Meeting performance standards as specified in the Performance Work Statement (PWS), including maintaining health inspections if changing food establishments.
6. Ensuring all contractor employees complete required training for access to government installations, including AT Level I Training and IWATCH training, with certificates submitted to the Contracting Officer Representative (COR).

Period of Performance
The base period of performance is from February 1, 2026, through January 31, 2027, with options for two additional periods extending through January 31, 2029.
