Sale of Used Pallets

Background
The Fort Knox Qualified Recycle Program (QRP) is issuing an invitation to bid on the sale of used pallets as part of their recycling efforts. The program aims to facilitate the sale of recyclable materials while ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations. This government sale is intended to promote recycling and proper disposal of materials, aligning with the agency's mission to manage waste responsibly.

Work Details
The contract involves the sale of used pallets, specifically:
- Quantity: Multiple loads consisting of approximately 480 to 520 pallets per load.
- Specifications: Pallet sizes include 48x40 #1’s, #2’s, and wingtip/reversible. Pallets will be sold 'as is'.
- Pricing Structure:
- 48x40 #1 @ $ per pallet
- 48x40 #2 @ $ per pallet
- 40x48 wingtip or reversible @ $ per pallet.
The bidder is responsible for transportation and securing the load after pick-up. Payment terms stipulate that the bidder will be invoiced five days after pick-up, with payment due within fifteen calendar days.

Period of Performance
The agreement period is for one year, from August 26, 2026, to August 25, 2027.

Place of Performance
Fort Knox QRP site located at 309 Frazier Road, Bldg. 2962, Fort Knox, KY 40121-5000.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must provide a completed sales solicitation/agreement including a signature, date, address, telephone number, and initials on each page. They must also agree to conform to all state, federal, and local laws regarding the processing and disposal of materials. Proof of an active DUNS Number and Cage Code may be required to assess the solvency of the bidding company.
