Background
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS), specifically the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Office of Acquisition Management (OAQ), is seeking to modify an existing contract to enhance its capabilities in conducting safety and wellness checks for Unaccompanied Alien Children (UAC) across the United States. Work Details
The modification involves procuring safety and wellness checks for UAC on a sole source basis from MVM, Inc., which has demonstrated proven expertise in child welfare and field operations. The tasks include:
- Conducting wellness checks to assess the safety and overall well-being of UAC, including checks for signs of abuse, abandonment, neglect, or trafficking.
- Rapidly deploying resources to meet urgent needs without delays associated with onboarding new vendors.
- Utilizing existing technology and infrastructure under the current contract to collect real-time data and assess program effectiveness.
- Ensuring compliance with the administration's directive to locate missing children efficiently.

Period of Performance
The performance period for this contract modification is aligned with the existing IDIQ contract, which extends through March 31, 2029.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed across various locations in the United States where UAC are located.
