(SAF/AQ) Air Force Technical and Analytic Support in Professional Services [AFTAS PRO]

Background
The Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Acquisition, Technology and Logistics (SAF/AQ) is responsible for the acquisition of non-space systems and programs for the Department of the Air Force (DAF). The agency serves as a Service Acquisition Executive (SAE) and a Senior Procurement Executive (SPE), overseeing science and technology acquisition, contracting, systems engineering, supply chain management, and product support policy. The goal of this contract is to provide advisory and assistance professional services that advance the objectives of the Air Force acquisition enterprise.

Work Details
The contractor will provide specialized support including:

1. Development, analysis, integration, and implementation of acquisition program planning and assessment.

2. Program Management: A Program Manager will lead strategic planning, budgeting, staffing efforts, enforce quality standards, monitor progress, ensure compliance with requirements, and serve as a point of contact.

3. Strategic and Acquisition Planning: Assistance in creating strategic plans connecting mission elements; support for development and execution of acquisition program planning; risk assessments; methodologies for process enhancement; ongoing support with changing topics.

4. Information Technology (IT) Support: Services related to system sustainment, implementation, integration; evaluation of emerging IT technologies including AI/ML; support for Business Process Reengineering (BPR); compliance with National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) requirements.

5. Seminar Support: Event planning and logistics for up to three SAF/AQ sponsored seminars annually across various CONUS locations.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed primarily in locations across the Continental United States (CONUS), including areas such as San Antonio, TX; Orlando, FL; Washington D.C.; Dayton, OH; Los Angeles, CA; Boston, MA; or Eglin AFB, FL.
