Background
The Sacramento Valley National Cemetery is seeking a contractor to provide copier lease and maintenance services. The goal of this contract is to ensure the availability and functionality of two multi-function devices (MFDs) that can handle various tasks such as copying, printing, scanning, and faxing. This requirement is for a base year with four option years, aimed at supporting the operations of the cemetery.

Work Details
The contractor will furnish all materials, equipment, and supplies necessary to provide two copier/printer machines that connect to the VA network with PIV card slots for security. The machines must have capabilities for faxing, copying, printing, scanning, 3-hole punching, stapling, and folding.

Estimated monthly usage includes 7,000 black & white copies and 4,000 full-color prints at a speed of 35-45 pages per minute. The machines should accommodate various paper sizes (Letter, Legal, 11x17) with four or more paper trays holding at least 500 sheets each. The contractor shall lease two Xerox Altalink C8035T or equivalent machines and provide maintenance services including labor and parts for scheduled and unscheduled repairs.

Maintenance calls must be responded to within 48 hours by qualified technicians who are knowledgeable about the equipment. Additionally, the contractor will supply toner with at least four extra sets stored securely on-site. Delivery and installation of the machines must occur within 30 days of contract award.
