FY23 Basic Multiple Award Construction Contract SABER requirements

Amendment 1 dated 2 February 2023 - Cleaned up administrative issues in Section L and Section M. No changes were made, removed red lines and comments.

Amendment 2 dated 6 February 2023 - A site visit will be held for the seed project for this IDIQ on 13 February 2023 at 1.pm. CST. If you need help gaining base access, please email Logan Hamm logan.hamm.1@us.af.mil by Friday, 10 February 2023 for the additional information that we will need.

The seed project Magnitude of Construction is between $750K and $1M.

Amendment 3 dated 10 February 2023 - See updated attachment for Questions and Answers, updates to SOW, Section L and Section M.

Background

The scope of work includes renovating the roof at B72 at Altus Air Force Base, Oklahoma. The building, constructed in 1956, requires a complete new watertight built-up roof system (BUR) with a no dollar limit (NDL) twenty-year warranty. This involves replacing the existing roof system, providing new exterior gutter system, disposing of asbestos roofing material properly per Altus AFB local regulations, and designing and submitting drawings for EFIS repair.

The work also includes installing new elastomeric mopping bitumen with a poly-felt-polyester BUR reinforcement with a protected membrane roof surface option, ensuring the new roof system withstands ultimate wind speed of 115 mph, providing minimum drainage requirements for wall scuppers and interior drains, and removing the roof system down to existing metal deck or substrate.
