Saber III RFI

Background
The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) is a Combat Support Agency of the Department of Defense and a member of the United States Intelligence Community. NGA's mission is to provide timely, relevant, and accurate Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) in support of national security objectives.

The Software Aqua Badge Engineering Resources III (SABER III) effort is a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) aimed at providing software development capacity to support various activities within the NGA's GEOINT Services Enterprise Services Development Corps (DevCorps) Division. This initiative seeks to enhance mission-critical Agency functions and capabilities through technical expertise and support for inter-Agency programs, applications, and software.

Work Details
The SABER III Contractor-provided software developers will be responsible for developing, modifying, integrating, testing, deploying, and maintaining government-owned software and applications according to NGA's published software standards.

Key tasks include:
1. Providing software development support for current and emerging GEOINT analytic capabilities.
2. Supporting GEOINT collection needs through software development.
3. Enhancing GEOINT foundation data systems with new software solutions.
4. Developing automation tools for security compliance and testing.

The contractor must leverage Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS), Government Off-the-Shelf (GOTS), Free and Open Source (FOSS), and NGA’s DevOps toolkit to fulfill these tasks effectively.

Period of Performance
The planned period of performance for this contract is up to 5 years.

Place of Performance
All work will primarily be performed within the United States, specifically at NGA facilities in St. Louis, MO, with potential work at NGA facilities in Springfield, VA.
