Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 10 is seeking a contractor to provide comprehensive disposal services for various types of waste. The agency's mission includes ensuring safe and compliant waste management practices, particularly in healthcare settings.

The goal of this contract is to manage hazardous and non-hazardous waste effectively while adhering to environmental regulations.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the disposal of the following types of waste: hazardous waste, non-hazardous chemical waste, specialty waste (including hazardous pharmaceuticals, high-hazard waste, non-hazardous pharmaceuticals, and dual waste which combines hazardous chemical and bio-hazardous materials), universal waste, used oil, and emergency spill response services.

Additionally, lab pack services are included, which cover supplies, labeling, lab packing, consolidation, shipment, manifesting, and consulting. It is important to note that this contract excludes the disposal of infectious, bio-hazardous, radiological, or pathological waste except for dual waste that combines chemical and infectious materials.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at multiple locations within Northern Indiana Health Care System including: Marion Medical Center at 1700 E. 38th Street, Marion IN 46953; Fort Wayne Medical Center at 2121 Lake Avenue, Fort Wayne IN 46805; and Jackie Walorski Clinic at 1540 Trinity Place, Mishawaka IN 46545.
