The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 10 is seeking a contractor to provide disposal services of hazardous waste, non-hazardous chemical waste, specialty waste (i.e., hazardous pharmaceuticals, high-hazard waste, non-hazardous pharmaceuticals, and dual waste [hazardous chemical and bio-hazardous combined]), universal waste, used oil, emergency spill response services, and lab pack services. Lab pack services encompass supplies, labeling, lab packing, consolidation, shipment, manifesting, and consulting. This contract will not include the disposal of infectious, bio-hazardous, radiological, or pathological waste, except for dual waste (chemical and infectious combined).
Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 10 is seeking a contractor to provide disposal services for hazardous waste, non-hazardous chemical waste, specialty waste (including hazardous pharmaceuticals and dual waste), universal waste, used oil, emergency spill response services, and lab pack services.

The goal of this contract is to ensure safe and compliant disposal of various types of waste generated by the Northern Indiana Health Care Systems (VANIHCS). This contract will not cover the disposal of infectious, bio-hazardous, radiological, or pathological waste except for dual waste.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for:
1. Providing disposal services for hazardous waste including pharmaceuticals and specialty wastes.
2. Conducting lab pack services which include supplies, labeling, consolidation, shipment, manifesting, and consulting.
3. Ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations regarding hazardous waste management.
4. Performing monthly hazardous waste removal as needed based on generation communicated by the Contracting Officer Representative (COR).
5. Maintaining documentation for all disposal processes and providing necessary certifications related to the removal and disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous wastes.

Period of Performance
The contract will be effective for one base year from October 1, 2025 to September 30, 2026 with four option years available based on funding.

Services will be performed at the following locations:
- Marion Medical Center (EPA ID: IN6360073001700)
- Fort Wayne Medical Center (EPA ID: IN13600102752121)
- Jackie Walorski Clinic (EPA ID: INR0001518031540) in Indiana.
