Background
The Kansas City Veteran Affairs Medical Center (KCVAMC) is seeking contractors to provide hazardous waste and non-hazardous waste disposal services. This contract aims to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and maintain safety standards in waste management.

The services are critical for the KCVAMC's operations, supporting their mission to provide quality healthcare to veterans.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks:
1. Routine disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous waste, including annual training for facility employees on handling and disposal procedures.
2. Compliance with all applicable regulations from The Joint Commission (TJC), U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Department of Transportation (DOT), and local authorities.
3. Maintenance of necessary permits and licenses for transport and disposal of hazardous waste.
4. Provision of all labor, supervision, materials, equipment, sanitized containers, transportation, facilities, supplies, waste profiles, and manifests required for waste management.
5. Analysis/profile collection, preparation, packaging, labeling, removal, transport, storage, treatment, and disposal of various types of hazardous wastes as outlined in Table 1 of the Performance Work Statement (PWS).
6. Monthly estimated pick-ups from the Kansas City VA Medical Center located at 4801 Linwood Blvd, Kansas City, MO 64128.

Period of Performance
The contract will be executed over a five-year period with five twelve-month ordering periods starting from February 1, 2026 to January 31, 2031.
