691 Window Cleaning Services for VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System (VAGLAHS)   2

Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is issuing this solicitation for Window Cleaning Services for the VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System (VAGLAHS). The goal of this contract is to ensure that the facilities maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff by providing regular window cleaning services. This contract is aimed at enhancing the operational efficiency of the healthcare system while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all necessary labor, supervision, materials, equipment, and supplies to perform window cleaning services semi-annually (twice per year) at the following locations: VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System (VAGLAHS), Sepulveda Ambulatory Care Center (SACC), and Los Angeles Ambulatory Care Center (LAACC). Specific tasks include:
- Cleaning all interior and exterior windows, ledges, metal panels, screens, and walkways.
- Ensuring that all cleaning meets specified standards by removing residual substances such as tar, gum, paint, waterproofing compounds, dirt, and soil from glass surfaces.
- Removing screens and safety bars for cleaning and securely replacing them afterward.
- Properly storing or removing all contractor materials and equipment at the end of each workday.
- Adhering to OSHA regulations and safety standards while using materials and equipment.
- Submitting a proposed work schedule within 15 calendar days after contract award for coordination with facility operations.
- Complying with Joint Commission guidelines and reporting any damage caused during cleaning operations.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a base year from March 21, 2026, to March 20, 2027, with four optional one-year extensions available.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at three locations: VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System located at 11301 Wilshire Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90073; Sepulveda Ambulatory Care Center located at 16111 Plummer Street, North Hills, CA 91343; and Los Angeles Ambulatory Care Center located at 351 East Temple Street, Los Angeles, CA 90012.
