This solicitation is for a 5-year IDIQ with firm fixed unit prices for Laundry and Linen Services for the Corporal Michael J. Crescenz VA Medical Center in accordance with the attached SOW, and is being completed in accordance with FAR Part 13.

The period of performance is 10/01/2024 through 09/30/2029.

Background
The Corporal Michael J. Crescenz VA Medical Center, part of the Department of Veterans Affairs, is seeking a contractor to provide Laundry and Linen Services under a five-year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract.

This contract aims to ensure that the medical center has reliable and high-quality laundry services to support its operations, in accordance with established standards and practices.

Work Details
The contractor shall perform weekly laundry services, including the following tasks:
1. Pick-up and delivery of all soiled linen and laundry from designated locations at the CMJCVAMC and Philadelphia VA Community Living Center (CLC) Monday through Saturday between 7:00 AM ET and 3:30 PM ET.
2. Cleaned linen and laundry shall be delivered every Monday through Saturday during the same hours.
3. Monthly cleaning and replacement of walk-off mats on weekdays at the contractor's discretion.
4. The contractor must furnish all labor, equipment, supervision, management, supplies, transportation, and facilities necessary for the laundry service. All work must comply with quality control measures established by relevant industry standards such as those from NAILM/ALM, IFI, and TRSA. The contractor is also responsible for ensuring sanitary conditions as per JCAHO specifications.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract is from October 1, 2024, through September 30, 2029.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at the Corporal Michael J. Crescenz VA Medical Center located at 3900 Woodland Ave., Philadelphia PA 19104; Philadelphia VA Community Living Center at 3461 Civic Center Blvd., Philadelphia PA 19104; and Snyder House at 1425 Snyder Ave., Philadelphia PA 19145.
