Statement of Work (SOW) Replacement Water Irrigation System VA Lee County Health Care Center (LCHCC) GEBERAL The contractor shall provide all management, supervision, labor, permits, materials, supplies, tools, and equipment, necessary to complete the removal and installation of one new irrigation control system and pumping system. SCOPE OF WORK The Engineering Service at Lee County Healthcare Center (LCHC), 2489 Diplomat Parkway East, Cape Coral, FL 33909, requires the purchase and installation of a water irrigation control system. The current system is at zone capacity, not allowing news planting areas to be automatically watered. The purpose of this project is to replace an existing water irrigation control system with a new control system capable of supporting an expanded irrigation zone capacity. PERIOD OR PERFORMANCE 02/28/2025 06/01/2026 GENERAL SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS The current system is capable of pumping water to up to 42 zones, and the new system should be designed and implemented to accommodate an expansion to a total of 100 zones. Provide a traditional 100-station irrigation control system rated 10hp, 480-volt three phase, 150 GPM @ 60 PSI system. The irrigation system is to be pedestal mounted with the capability to control 100 zones with WiFi and APP capable. The new control system will be connected to the existing installed zones. Replace the existing motor with a 10hp centrifugal pump rated 150 GPM @ 60PSI to include a new filter, surge protector, and cooling fan located under a weatherproof fiberglass hinged cover installed on a new concrete pad. Remove and replace existing auto fill and shut down floats in the existing cistern. Contractor will need to test system and teach how to program. The project is to replace the sprinkler system controller (controller housing and concrete pad) and low/high level floats in the fill tank, test the new system, and teach how to use the system controller. map of the zones to provide. PO Comments: Contractor will be required to comply with physical security guidelines by either checking in with the VA Police each time they come on-site to perform contracted services or by obtaining a VA Contractor ID badge from the VA Police. Contractor may not have access to any VA sensitive information under this contract. Contractor must be escorted at all times by VA staff or contractor must complete VA Privacy and Information Security Awareness and Rules of Behavior training.
Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs is issuing this contract for the replacement of the water irrigation control system at the Lee County Health Care Center (LCHCC).

Work Details
