Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is issuing a solicitation for Integrated Pest Management services for the VA St. Louis Health Care System. The mission of the VA is to provide high-quality healthcare to veterans, and this contract aims to ensure the health and safety of patients, staff, and visitors by implementing a long-term, environmentally sound pest suppression plan.

This plan is part of a comprehensive Integrated Pest Management (IPM) Program designed to address pest control needs across multiple facilities within the St. Louis area.

Work Details
The contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, materials, and equipment necessary to accomplish the surveillance, trapping, pesticide applications, and pest removal components of the IPM Program. Specific tasks include:

1. Conducting thorough initial inspections of each building within 10 working days before the start of the contract;
2. Submitting a Pest Control Plan at least five working days prior to contract commencement;
3. Providing regular and emergency pest control services as needed;
4. Suppressing/eliminating various pests including structural pests (cockroaches, ants), flying insects (houseflies), parasitic pests (lice), invader pests (bees), rodents (mice), birds (pigeons), and wood-destroying organisms (termites);
5. Submitting detailed recommendations for structural and procedural modifications to reduce pest access;
6. Routine services scheduled during regular business hours with emergency services provided within three hours for urgent requests.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at multiple locations within the St. Louis area including: Jefferson Barracks Division (1 Jefferson Barracks Drive, St. Louis, MO 63125), John Cochran Division (915 North Grand Blvd, St. Louis, MO 63106), and Hope Recovery Clinic (515 Jefferson Ave, St. Louis, MO 63103).
