Integrated Pest Management Services for the Marion VA Medical Center   3

Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs is issuing a contract for Integrated Pest Management (IPM) Services at the Marion VA Medical Center located at 2401 West Main Street, Marion, IL 62959. The goal of this contract is to implement an IPM plan that achieves long-term environmentally sound pest suppression using various technological mechanisms and management practices. The IPM will address current and anticipated pest infestations at the facility, ensuring the health and safety of patients, staff, and visitors.

Work Details
The contractor will provide comprehensive supervision, management, laboratory testing, tools, supplies, equipment, transportation, reports, and labor necessary to develop and implement an Integrated Pest Management (IPM) plan. Services include:
- Coverage of all buildings and areas on campus totaling approximately 500,000 square feet with services provided three times per week (156 visits annually).
- Implementation of structural and procedural variations to reduce food, water, harborage, and access for pests.
- Surveillance, trapping, pesticide application, pest removal components, and detailed reporting with site-specific recommendations for pest control both indoors and outdoors.
- Inspection and treatment for bed bugs, fleas, and other parasitic pests on an as-needed basis.
- Bed bug treatments will be priced separately as needed.
- The contractor must comply with all applicable regulations regarding pesticide use and ensure that all personnel are qualified to perform pest control services.

Period of Performance
The contract is structured as a five-year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with five 12-month ordering periods starting from September 15, 2025 through September 14, 2030.
