IDIQ - Pest Control Service - VA FARGO   3

Background
The Fargo VA Health Care System (FVAHCS) is seeking to establish an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for comprehensive Integrated Pest Management (IPM) services.

The goal of this contract is to ensure a safe, sanitary, and compliant environment across all VA facilities within the FVAHCS service area. This proactive IPM program aims to prevent, identify, and mitigate pest activity while minimizing disruption to patient care and operations.

Work Details
The contractor will provide weekly Pest Management services at the Fargo VA Medical Center campus. Responsibilities include:
1. Developing and implementing an Integrated Pest Management (IPM) plan;
2. Providing all necessary management, tools, supplies, equipment, transportation, and labor;
3. Ensuring compliance with guidelines established by the Veterans Administration and relevant federal, state, and local ordinances;
4. Addressing all pest infestations until complete elimination;
5. Conducting initial inspections within the first five working days of contract initiation to evaluate pest control needs;
6. Scheduling services weekly with the Chief of Environmental Services;
7. Following National Pest Management Association's good practice statements for pest management;
8. Providing education on mitigating measures such as sealing entry points and reducing waste;
9. Utilizing environmentally sound pesticides when necessary;
10. Pricing out additional services such as bedbug treatments, bat removal, and vertebrate pest control on an as-needed basis.

Period of Performance
The contract will have five one-year ordering periods starting from April 1, 2026, through March 31, 2031.
