FY26: Bridge-Short Term Unarmed Security Guard

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration, has determined that it is in the best interests of the government to award a short-term bridge contract to the incumbent contractor to avoid a lapse in service resulting from a delay in the procurement process for the long-term competitive follow-on contract. The latest contract, awarded in May 2021 (awarded on a competitive basis) expired on April 30, 2026. A new competitive acquisition is currently in the pre-solicitation process. This short-term procurement is for Unarmed Security Guard Services at the VA Caribbean Healthcare System (VACHS) facilities through PR and the USVI. The contractor shall provide the necessary supervision, labor, supplies, materials, and equipment to render complete services. This action is awarded as a new action.
