VENDORS SHALL NOT SUBMIT FORMAL PROPOSALS UNTIL THE RFP IS POSTED TO THIS WEBSITE. This synopsis is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government nor shall the Government pay for the information resulting from this posting. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 8, VA Caribbean Healthcare System (VACHS) in Puerto Rico has a requirement for Unarmed Security Guard Services for the facilities located throughout Puerto Rico and Us Virgin Islands. The following facilities within the VACHS are included: VA Medical Center in San Juan, Arecibo Outpatient Clinic, Mayaguez Outpatient Clinic, Ponce Outpatient Clinic, Ceiba Community Based Outpatient Clinic, Carolina Warehouses, Vieques Rural Clinic, St. Croix Community Based Outpatient Clinic, St Croix, USVI and St. Thomas Community Based Outpatient Clinic, St. Thomas, USVI. The procurement is a TIER EVALUATION to include SDVOSB, VOSBS up to Small Business concerns. The NAICS code for this requirement will be 561612 with a size standard of $22 million. Any resultant contract will be effective for a Base Period of performance of six (6) months, with four one-year Options to extend the contract at the Government s discretion. The Government intends to award a firm fixed price contract in accordance with all terms, conditions and provisions. The tentative issue date for the actual solicitation is 7-14 days from this posting. Proposals will be due no less than 30 days after the issuance of any solicitation. This notice is for informational purposes only and is not a request for offers. The Government is not obligated to issue a solicitation as a result of this notice. No other information is available until issuance of the solicitation.
