Solid Waste Disposal Services - Salem VAMC   3

The Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Salem VA Medical Center (VAMC) located at 1970 Roanoke Boulevard in Salem, VA 24153 will be soliciting offers for Solid Waste Removal Services. The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation and qualified supervision to perform trash (solid waste) removal services; recycling services to include cardboard, paper, plastics and metals; and landfill fees for the VA Health Care System, Salem, Virginia for a period of one base three (3) months, beginning July 1, 2024, through September 30, 2024. Four (4) option years beginning October 1,2024 ending September 30, 2029. Services shall be in accordance with all terms and conditions of the Statement of Work. Combination of VA-Owned and Contractor Owned Dumpsters. RECYCLED WASTE NOTE: Any and all rebates from recycled materials will be refunded to the Salem Veterans Affairs Health Care System. Discretionary Waste Removal/Special Projects: To include furniture and wood. A request for Quote (RFQ) 36C24624Q0208 will be issued on or about June 3, 2024. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed price contract in accordance with all terms, conditions, provisions, and specifications of the solicitation. The period of performance is July 1, 2024, through September 30, 2024 or the base period, with four (4) one (1) year renewal options that can be exercised by the Government. The solicitation will provide instructions to contractors about the offer submission process. In accordance with FAR 52.204-7, System for Award Management, prospective contractors must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for award; contractors may obtain SAM information at https://www.sam.gov. The applicable NAICS Code is 562111 Solid Waste Collection with a Small Business Size Standard of $47 million. The solicitation will be issued as a 100% Services Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside. To be considered a verified SDVOSB, the company must be listed as verified in Veteran Small Business Certification (sba.gov).
