Grease Trap Cleaning Service   2

Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is issuing a solicitation for Grease Trap Cleaning Services at the Charlie Norwood VA Medical Center (CNVAMC) in Augusta, GA. The CNVAMC serves Veterans at both its Uptown and Downtown divisions, which have kitchens that provide inpatient meals.

The goal of this contract is to ensure the proper maintenance and cleaning of grease traps and barrels to support the facility's operations.

Work Details
The contractor will provide all necessary labor, transportation, materials, tools, supplies, supervision, incidental engineering equipment, and management necessary to pump out, properly dispose of, and clean grease traps as specified monthly.

Specific tasks include:
1. Pump out grease trap #1 (500 gallons) located at the Downtown Division, Building 801.
2. Pump out grease trap #2 (500 gallons) located at the Downtown Division, Building 801.
3. Pump out grease trap #1 (500 gallons) located at the Uptown Division, Building 82.
4. Pump out grease trap #2 (500 gallons) located at the Uptown Division, Building 110.

Work is to be performed between 8:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays.

Period of Performance
The performance period will consist of one base year with four one-year options following the date of award.

Charlie Norwood VA Medical Center - Uptown Division located at 1 Freedom Way, Augusta, GA 30904 and Downtown Division located at 950 15th Street, Augusta, GA 30901.
