Background
The Veterans Affairs San Diego Healthcare System (VASDHS) is issuing a contract for janitorial services under the AbilityOne program, which aims to provide employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities.

The goal of this contract is to ensure that the healthcare facility maintains a clean and sanitary environment for both patients and staff.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for providing comprehensive janitorial services at the VASDHS facility. This includes but is not limited to:

- Routine cleaning of all areas, including patient rooms, restrooms, and common areas;
- Waste management;
- Floor care including sweeping, mopping, and buffing;
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

The contractor must also provide all necessary supplies and equipment to perform these tasks effectively.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract will be from April 1, 2026, to March 31, 2031, including a base year followed by four option years.
