Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs is issuing this contract to provide janitorial services at the John H. Bradley VA Clinic located in Appleton, WI. The goal of this contract is to maintain a clean and professional environment that aligns with the Veterans Health Administration's mission of delivering high-quality medical care to veterans. This solicitation is set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB).

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all materials, labor, management, and supervision necessary for janitorial services at the clinic. Key responsibilities include:

1) Maintaining cleanliness in compliance with Joint Commission standards and VA infection control policies;

2) Providing all supplies and equipment necessary for cleaning;

3) Ensuring that cleaning begins at 6:30 AM and ends by midnight, Monday through Friday;

4) Having a site supervisor present during cleaning operations;

5) Employing five to six housekeepers to meet performance objectives;

6) Cleaning tasks include general dusting, disinfecting surfaces, removing trash and recycling, handling biohazard waste, de-scaling sinks, maintaining office furniture cleanliness, and ensuring all areas are free from dust and debris.

The contractor must also provide Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for cleaning agents used.

Period of Performance
The contract period begins on April 1, 2026, and ends on March 31, 2027, with four one-year option periods available.
