Background
The solicitation is for Janitorial Services for the Cooperative Studies Program at the New Mexico VA Healthcare System located at 2401 Centre Avenue, SE Albuquerque, NM 87106. The facility is approximately 68,000 net usable square feet including office, warehouse, storage, and technical space involving a variety of floor coverings. The contractor shall furnish all labor to provide Clean Technique and Aesthetic housekeeping cleaning services in a manner that will maintain an infection control compliant facility condition and meet The Joint Commission (TJC) standards.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide cleaning and remediation services prioritizing removal of all soiling, stains, marks, scuffs, and other foreign material while enhancing infection control by disinfecting all surfaces. This includes various cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, floor scrubbing, high/low dusting, cleaning restrooms, doors, glass/windows, walls, administrative office areas & lounges & conference rooms, deep cleaning carpets & upholstered chairs, removal of trash/cardboard, restocking bathroom/break room supplies and all other general housekeeping duties. The contractor shall also demonstrate the ability to provide Clean Technique and Aesthetic housekeeping cleaning services with three years of successful experience in this field providing Janitorial services to similar facilities.
