THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This notice does NOT constitute a request for proposal, request for quote, or invitation for bid. No formal solicitation document exists at this time. Market Research is being conducted to Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB), Small Business, Small Disadvantaged Business, 8(a), Woman Owned Small Business or HUBZone interests. The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) is trying to determine whether to set-aside an acquisition to provide One year (12 months) of Janitorial services located at the Jacksonville Veteran Health Care Center at Jacksonville, NC: Jacksonville Health Care Center 110-A Branchwood Drive, Jacksonville, NC 28546 The NAICS 561720 is applicable to this acquisition; with a size standard of $19.5 Million. If your company is interested in performing these services, please notify our office of your intent. The Contractor will provide all materials, hardware and parts, tools, specialized equipment, labor, transportation, supervision and technical expertise to perform Janitorial Cleaning services for an office space of 3,000 square foot space. The Contractor must be able to meet the following technical requirements: Contractors who perform services on site must have OSHA-10 certification. OSHA-10 certification must be obtained and provided at time of solicitation submission to the contract administrator. TB - The Contractor shall comply with the Federal/California OSHA Blood borne Pathogens Standard. Contractor must have 2 Step Tuberculosis (TB) test with negative results. If no TB test with negative result, contractor must wear a mask at all times. Please provide supporting documentation of the above to determine proper capabilities. Contractor should have flu shot if time of contract falls within November 30th to March 31st. If no flu shot, contractor must wear a mask at all times. Please provide supporting documentation of the above to determine proper capabilities. Cleaning must be performed in accordance with current Center for Disease Control (CDC) guidelines. Call response time must be answered within one hour. Services, as required, are to be performed within a 3-hour window after receiving call from customer. Must comply with wearing of face mask. Facilities are enforcing singular entrance to buildings where the screenings are being done to all who enter. If you are contracted to perform work within a timeframe of the current COVID-19 outbreak, please make appropriate preparations. As a note: Service animals are allowed into the facility for Veteran patients and facility worker personnel. Contractors shall make necessary preparations. Description of Services: Description of Services: Awardee shall perform base custodial services to present a clean, neat and professional appearance at the Jacksonville Vet Center in accordance with all local, state and federal laws and the requirements stated herein. Through innovation, technology, and other means, perform the required custodial services at frequencies determined by the contractor and per contractual guidelines. The Contractor is responsible for keeping their work areas clean. The Contractor shall provide a quality management plan, weekly schedule of cleaning and a monthly status report, including personnel and incidents. Additionally, the Contractor shall provide all labor, transportation, supplies, equipment, uniforms, supervision, and training in accordance with the Janitorial Services. The contractor s work shall not take place at the government site on Federal Holidays and weekends unless directed by the onsite representative. Services will occur during normal business hours which are between the hours of 7:30AM -4:30PM EST, Monday through Friday.
