Housekeeping Services for VA Nebraska Western Iowa Health Care System. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This is a solicitation conducted using FAR Part 13 (Simplified Acquisition Procedures). This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, quotes are being requested. Solicitation number 36C26323Q0462 is issued as a request for quotes (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2019-02. This procurement is a total set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). Prospective offerors must be registered and current in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at time of offer to the Government (https://www.sam.gov). Quotes will only be accepted from responsible contractors. The NAICS code for the solicitation is 541720 with a size standard of $19.5 million. The VA anticipates one firm fixed price Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract award to provide services to VA Nebraska Western Iowa Health Care System, 4101 Woolworth Avenue, Omaha, NE 68105 The period of performance is 05-15-2023 to 05-14-2024 for the base year period of performance. There is one (1) one-year option period available at the government s discretion. Background
The purpose of amendment 0001 of RFQ 36C26323Q0462 is to clarify the Government's housekeeping requirements for the VA Nebraska Western-Iowa Health Care System located in Omaha, NE. The contract is for housekeeping (janitorial) services to support the VA Omaha Medical Center located at 4101 Woolworth Avenue, Omaha, NE 68105-1850. It is a 100% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business set-aside and all offerors must be registered at the Veteran Small Business Certification webpage.

Work Details
The Nebraska Western Iowa Health Care System (NWIHCS) requires a contractor to provide housekeeping services. The Contractor shall provide all labor, standard cleaning and tools, supplies, materials, management, and all other elements necessary to provide complete Janitorial Services at the NWIHCS for building 1 through 9. The NWIHCS facilities will continually present a clean, neat, and welcoming appearance to our Veterans, visitors and staff.
The Contractor shall perform all work in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, contract standards, manufacturer’s instructions, and the Statement of Work. The contractor shall have experience in managing and providing healthcare housekeeping services to institutions of similar-size and scope as required by this solicitation. The contractor must have gained this experience as a result of being regularly engaged in the business of providing similar services in health care/patient care environments.

Housekeeping services are required at the VA Omaha Medical Center located at 4101 Woolworth Avenue, Omaha, NE 68105-1850.
