FY23 Carpet Cleaning Services for Orlando VA Healthcare System facilities   2

Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is seeking carpet cleaning services for the Orlando VA Healthcare System (OVAHCS) facilities. The solicitation is being issued by the Network Contracting Office 8 (NCO 8) of the VA. The goal of the contract is to provide scheduled and unscheduled carpet cleaning services for multiple locations within the OVAHCS facilities.

Work Details
The contractor is required to provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, and supervision necessary to perform carpet cleaning services at the specified locations. This includes developing a detailed cleaning plan for scheduled services and providing carpet cleaning on an as-needed basis for unscheduled services. The contractor must also track, update, and report progress as scheduled and unscheduled carpet cleaning services are provided. Additionally, the contractor is responsible for acknowledging requests for services and providing a response time for unscheduled carpet cleaning services.

The performance work statement provides detailed information on the scope of work, including the overview, scope, scheduled and unscheduled services, cleaning preparation, reporting, VA facilities and hours of operation, recognized holidays, contractor's working hours, key personnel, performance monitoring, acceptable and unacceptable performance.

Period of Performance
The contract period of performance begins on September 22, 2023, and ends on August 31, 2028. The contract includes multiple option periods with varying start and end dates for each period.

Place of Performance
The contract requires carpet cleaning services at three locations: Orlando VAMC at Lake Nona, Lake Baldwin VAMC, and Lakemont Campus in Orlando, Florida.
