FY:20 Janitorial Services at VACHS, SBT, POPC, and MOPC   3

This is a pre-solicitation notice for a commercial acquisition using FAR parts 12 and 15. THIS PRESOLICITATION NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP). VENDORS SHALL NOT SUBMIT FORMAL PROPOSALS UNTIL THE RFP IS POSTED TO THIS WEBSITE. This synopsis is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government nor shall the Government pay for the information resulting from this posting. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 8, VA Caribbean Healthcare System (VACHS) in Puerto Rico has a requirement for Healthcare Aseptic Cleaning Services. The following facilities within the VACHS are included: VA Main Tower (Building No. 1) in San Juan, to include: First floor, Intensive Care Units (ICU's) and District Counsel Office, VA Community Living Center (CLC) (Building No. 10), VA Outpatient Additional (OPA) (Building No. 19), VA South Bed Tower (SBT); Mayaguez Outpatient Clinic (MOPC) and Ponce Outpatient Clinic (POPC). Total estimated square footage is 865,730 SF. The procurement is 100% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside. The NAICS code for this requirement will be 561720 with a size standard of $19.5 million. Any resultant contract will be effective for a Base Period of performance of eight (8) months, with four one-year Options to extend the contract at the Government s discretion. The Government intends to award a firm fixed price contract in accordance with all terms, conditions and provisions. The tentative issue date for the actual solicitation is 7-14 days from this posting. Proposals will be due no less than 30 days after the issuance of any solicitation. This notice is for informational purposes only and is not a request for offers. The Government is not obligated to issue a solicitation as a result of this notice. No other information is available until issuance of the solicitation.
