ED/PD Housekeeping/Janitorial - PHX VAMC Base + 4 OY (resolicit)   2

Background
The solicitation is for a contract to provide housekeeping services for the Emergency Department (ED) and Police Department office at the Phoenix Veterans Hospital. The total square footage of the entire area is 22,022 square feet, and the contract includes providing 24/7 janitorial services in these areas. The contractor is required to provide all labor, supervision, management support, equipment, and materials to facilitate cleaning and maintain acceptable levels of cleanliness that meet Aseptic Cleaning medical industry standards and the joint commission.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide housekeeping services for the specified areas, including new X-ray and CT areas, police administration area, and other related spaces. The services include cleaning and disinfecting/sanitizing all surfaces, floor care, trash collection/removal, bio waste removal, handling/cleaning of VA furniture/equipment, restroom and locker room cleaning, immunizations for personnel, certifications and training requirements for employees, quality assurance measures including surveillances and customer complaint resolution process. The contractor is also responsible for adhering to VA privacy and information security awareness training requirements as well as site-specific security requirements.

Period of Performance
The contract period includes a base period from 10-01-2023 to 09-30-2024 with options for additional periods from 10-01-2024 to 09-30-2025 (Option 1), 10-01-2025 to 09-30-2026 (Option 2), and 10-01-2026 to 09-30-2027 (Option 3).

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at the Phoenix Veterans Hospital located at 650 E. Indian School Road Phoenix AZ 85012.
