Wastewater Removal and Water Deliveries for Alcatr   2

Background
The National Park Service is seeking support for potable water delivery and wastewater removal for Alcatraz Island at Golden Gate National Recreation Area, San Francisco County, California. The purpose of the contract is to coordinate the removal of sewage wastewater and gain potable water deliveries at Alcatraz Island in San Francisco Bay, California. These services include regularly scheduled removal of wastewater and delivery of potable water, as well occasional emergency services for removal of unanticipated excess quantities of wastewater or supply of unanticipated excess quantities of potable water. All services require transportation by water vessel due to the island location to be serviced by this procurement.

Work Details
The contract requires the coordination of sewage wastewater removal and potable water deliveries at Alcatraz Island. The estimated total annual volumes to be included in this procurement are approximately 290,000 gallons of potable water to be delivered over the period of performance, approximately 1,243,000 gallons of wastewater to be transferred off during the period of performance. Frequency of service required may range from one delivery/removal every other day to multiple delivery/removals per day. The contract is a Firm Fixed Price/1 yr contract and will be awarded based on technical capability, past performance references, and price.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for the contract is from October 1, 2024 through September 30, 2025.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at Alcatraz Island located at Golden Gate National Recreation Area, San Francisco County, California.
