Description

Janitorial/Custodial Services for RTP Campus
Background: The contract is for Janitorial/Custodial Services for the RTP Campus of the US EPA. The contract is being issued by the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and is part of their mission to maintain a clean and safe working environment. The goal of the contract is to provide janitorial support services to ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the RTP Campus.

Details: The tasks/services to be completed under the contract include general cleaning labor, emergency after-hours support, and optional window cleaning services. The general cleaning labor includes all services specified in the Performance Work Statement (PWS), except for after-hours emergency services and optional services. The emergency after-hours support is not to exceed 100 hours per year. The optional window cleaning services include cleaning windows up to and exceeding 25 feet. The contract also includes specific requirements related to snow and ice removal, agency security, quality assurance surveillance, wage determination, past performance questionnaire, and sign-in sheet.

Period of Performance: The period of performance for the contract is from January 1, 2024, to December 31, 2028. The base period covers January 1, 2024, to December 31, 2024.

There are four option periods:
- Option Period I covers January 1, 2025, to December 31, 2025
- Option Period II covers January 1, 2026, to December 31, 2026
- Option Period III covers January 1, 2027, to December 31, 2027
- Option Period IV covers January 1, 2028, to December 31, 2028.

Place of Performance: The contract will be performed at the RTP Campus and Chapel Hill Facility of the US EPA.
