Truckee Ranger District Janitorial Contract
Tahoe National Forest
The intent of this contract is to furnish janitorial services for the Truckee Ranger District. The janitorial work hours will coincide with Forest Service staff working in the building, so a consistent schedule of times for arrival and operations must be maintained to avoid disruption to Forest Service operations.
All weekly scheduled work is to be performed during the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m Monday, Wednesday, and Friday in winter, with possibility for Saturday work in summer by agreement with the COR. In the case of 3 day holiday weekends, alternate cleaning dates and times may be negotiated with the COR.

Background

Work Details
The janitorial services include weekly scheduled work to be performed during the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m Monday, Wednesday, and Friday in winter, with possibility for Saturday work in summer by agreement with the COR. In the case of 3 day holiday weekends, alternate cleaning dates and times may be negotiated with the COR.

The estimated square footage is 9,889 and includes carpeted rooms, 3 restrooms (1 with a shower), reception area, conference room/break room/kitchen, hallways, and 1 janitor closet.

Period of Performance
Period of Performance: 05/01/2024 to 04/30/2025 for the base contract. Option Line Items extend the period of performance to 04/30/2026, 04/30/2027, and 04/30/2028.
