Background

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, vehicles, supervision, and other services necessary for refuse collection and emptying of trash cans at designated sites within the park. Key responsibilities include:

3. Personnel must present a neat appearance and comply with licensing requirements for vehicles used.

5. Refuse collection must continue during inclement weather, with missed collections to be made within 24 hours after severe weather ends.
6. During high winds exceeding 75 mph, collections will be delayed until conditions improve.
7. Each trash container must be emptied completely within scheduled timeframes and receive a new clear PVC liner each time it is emptied while maintaining cleanliness around the containers.
8. Litter removal includes manmade materials detracting from park quality within 20 feet of open areas owned by NPS.
9. Disposal of household trash left near designated sites is the contractor's responsibility; hazardous waste must be handled according to specified procedures.
10. Regular reporting on work performed including daily logs detailing tasks completed and any incidents or abnormalities encountered.
