Security Guard Services for the USGS National Cent

This is an announcement directing interested parties to the SAM web page at https://www.sam.gov where details of a U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) Request for Proposal (RFP) 140G0125R0002 may be viewed. This RFP constitutes the only solicitation.
This RFP is a Total Small-Disadvantaged Business Set-Aside.
Discounted Firm-Fixed Price proposal packages are being requested for the Security Guard Services for USGS National Center. The posted RFP contains a description of the Performance Work Statement, Instructions to Vendors, Collective Bargaining Agreement, Applicable Clauses, and Attachments A-G.
All vendors who can meet this requirement that are registered in SAM are invited to submit electronic proposals for this posted RFP.

Proposal Packages are due via email to ndemby@usgs.gov no later than 2:00PM EST, Wednesday, January 22, 2025.

Background
The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) is issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) 140G0125R0002 for Security Guard Services at the USGS National Center. This contract aims to provide security services to support the agency's mission and operations. The solicitation is set aside for Total Small-Disadvantaged Businesses, certified by the Small Business Administration (SBA).

Work Details
The contractor will provide monthly regular guard services and supervisory services covering all aspects of work within the Performance Work Statement. Specific tasks include:

1. Monthly Regular Guard Services (Class II Security Guards) at designated posts (1 through 10).
2. Monthly Guard Supervisory Services to oversee security operations.
3. Provision of productive labor hours for special events as required by USGS.
4. Compliance with all applicable clauses, instructions to vendors, and performance work statements outlined in the RFP.

Period of Performance
The contract period will commence on April 1, 2025, and continue through March 31, 2030, with multiple option periods for renewal.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at the USGS National Center located at 12201 Sunrise Valley Drive, Reston, Virginia.
