Background
The Military Surface Deployment and Distribution Command (MSDDC) is responsible for providing coordination worldwide for origin to destination surface traffic management support; coordinates surface and multimodal transportation contracted functions for all DOD and other U.S. Government entities, as authorized, and designated multinational, and interagency elements. MSDDC has played a vital role in our nation’s defense by providing support to the warfighter to every war, major contingency, training exercise, and humanitarian relief operations where our Military forces are needed and deployed.

Work Details
Provide Stevedoring and Related Terminal Services (S&RTS) at the designated Seaport of Debarkation/Embarkation (SPOD/E) of: The Ports of Jebel Ali, Khalifa, and Fujairah, located in the country of the United Arab Emirates UAE in connection with the import and export of Defense Transportation System (DTS) sponsored cargo. All tasks shall be completed in a manner consistent with the “Best Commercial Practices”.

Period of Performance
5-Year Ordering Period: 17 August 2023 through 16 August 2028.
Additionally, a Six-Month Extension of Service is available from 17 August 2028 through 16 February 2029.

Place of Performance
The geographic location(s) where the contract will be performed are the Ports of Jebel Ali, Khalifa, and Fujairah in the United Arab Emirates.
