Background
The solicitation is for Amendment 0005 to solicitation HTC711-22-R-R006. The amendment clarifies that only five amendments have been issued despite the incorrect display of amendment number 0006 due to a computer anomaly. The contract is for Stevedoring and Related Terminal Services (S&RTS) at Military Ocean Terminal Sunny Point (MOTSU), managed through the Defense Transportation System (DTS) in Southport, North Carolina. The Military Surface Deployment and Distribution Command (SDDC) is the operational-level U.S. Army Command responsible for providing support to various military operations and humanitarian relief efforts.

Work Details
The contract requires the provision of Stevedoring and Related Terminal Services according to the Performance Work Statement provided in Attachment 1. The services include handling surface moving cargo from cargo reception to disposition, cargo documentation, stuffing and unstuffing containers, explosive sampling, cargo transfers, in-transit storage, and processing cargo for simultaneous shipments via multiple surface modes of transportation as designated by the Contracting Officer (CO) or their appointed representatives.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for task orders issued through the ordering period is from 01 December 2022 through 30 November 2027. Additionally, there is a minimum guarantee of USD $2,500.00 for the first 12 months of the contract (01 December 2022 through 30 November 2023). There is also an option for S&RTS performance from 01 December 2027 through 31 May 2028.

The contract will be performed at Military Ocean Terminal Sunny Point (MOTSU) located in Southport, North Carolina.
