BIA Notice of Intent to Sole Source - Solid Waste Disposal Services for the Pine Ridge Agency
NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTATIONS.
In accordance with the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b), the Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) intends to enter into a sole source Firm-Fixed Price contract with the Oglala Sioux Tribe of Pine Ridge Indian Reservation as required by Tribal Ordinance No. 20-08.
The BIA, Pine Ridge Agency in Pine Ridge, SD has a need for solid waste disposal services for 12 months, from October 1, 2023 to September 30, 2024. The total estimated dollar value is $201,689.52.
The Oglala Sioux Tribal Council passed Ordinance No. 20-08 on January 28, 2020. The Ordinance requires all Government entities doing business within the boundaries of the Pine Ridge Reservation to use the Oglala Sioux Tribes Solid Waste Management program for services. The Ordinance also establishes landfill rates to be paid by the BIA.
No solicitation is available, and no technical questions will be answered for this requirement. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 562111. If a firm believes that the BIA should not pursue this procurement, it should submit a capability statement and pricing information for the requirement by 5:00 PM CT on September 21, 2023.
