Background
The National Weather Service (NWS), part of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), is seeking a contractor to provide non-personal janitorial services at the Nashville Weather Forecast Office (WFO) located at 500 Weather Station Road, Old Hickory, TN.

The goal of this contract is to ensure a clean and sanitary environment for the NWS, which operates 24/7.

Work Details
The contractor shall manage and perform cleaning services as specified in the Statement of Work (SOW). Key responsibilities include:
1. Daily cleaning six days a week, including emptying trash cans, vacuuming carpets, disinfecting restrooms, and checking supplies.
2. Weekly tasks such as wiping down surfaces and washing entrance windows.
3. Monthly duties including spot cleaning and dusting high areas.
4. Quarterly window washing and semi-annual carpet shampooing.
5. The contractor must provide all necessary cleaning supplies and ensure they are environmentally friendly.
6. The area covered by this contract consists of approximately 5,092 square feet, excluding certain rooms like the Communications/Electrical Room.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for the base year is from April 1, 2025, to March 31, 2026, with options for additional years extending through March 31, 2030.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at the National Weather Service Office located at 500 Weather Station Road, Old Hickory, TN 37138-1145.
