Background
The National Park Service (NPS), specifically the San Francisco Maritime National Historical Park, is seeking qualified firms to provide security services. The goal of this contract is to ensure the safety and security of the pier, buildings, and historic ships located at the SF Maritime Facility on Mare Island. This acquisition supports the agency's mission to preserve and protect national parks and historical sites.

Work Details
The Contractor shall provide one unarmed (without any weapons) uniformed security guard on Mare Island at the SF Maritime Facility. The security guard will be responsible for conducting security patrols of the pier, buildings, and historic ships.

The contract includes provisions for holidays and leave for the security guard, with specific hours allocated for these purposes. The base year of service is from December 30, 2024, to December 29, 2025, with options for additional years including an option year from December 30, 2025, to December 29, 2026, and a four-month option from December 30, 2026, to April 30, 2027.

Period of Performance
Base Year: December 30, 2024 - December 29, 2025; Option Year One: December 30, 2025 - December 29, 2026; Option Item (4 Months): December 30, 2026 - April 30, 2027.
