Background
The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is seeking to procure janitorial services for the Fields Facility located in Harney County, Oregon. This contract aims to ensure a clean and sanitary environment for the facility, which serves as both a bunkhouse and office space for various occupants throughout the year.

The BLM's mission includes managing public lands for multiple uses while ensuring their health and productivity. The goal of this contract is to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the facility.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, quality control, tools, equipment, and transportation necessary to deliver janitorial services at the BLM Fields Facility building. Key tasks include:
1. Cleaning frequency: High Season (May 1 - October 31) services performed twice a week; Low Season (November 1 - April 30) once a week.
2. Monthly cleaning of appliances and windows; semi-annual wall wipe downs; quarterly services four times per year.
3. Additional cleanings may be required with prior notice during special events.
4. Specific areas to be cleaned include living rooms, kitchens, restrooms, and bedrooms within the approximately 2,000 square foot facility.
5. All surfaces must be kept clean and free from dust, stains, or debris; wastebaskets must be emptied regularly; mirrors and glass cleaned weekly.
6. The contractor must manage work schedules effectively to ensure services are performed outside regular office hours.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract is from June 1, 2026, to May 30, 2027, with options for four additional one-year periods extending through May 30, 2031.

The janitorial services will be performed at the BLM Fields Facility located at 41339 Williams Creek Lane, Fields, OR 97710.
