Description

This SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS is for informational and planning purposes only and is not a solicitation announcement. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to gain knowledge of interested vendors. Responses to this Sources Sought Synopsis will be used by the government in making appropriate acquisition decisions. The government will not entertain questions concerning this market research.
The Department of Interior, Bureau of Reclamation, Columbia-Pacific Northwest Region, is conducting market research for a for a future procurement for bat extrusion, bat proofing, bat guano removal, histoplasma testing and disinfecting services at the Jackson Lake Dam in Moran, Wyoming per attached DRAFT PWS. The order will be firm-fixed price for one-year base period, and four one-year option periods.
The NAICS code is 561710, Exterminating and Pest Control Services with a Small Business Size Standard of $17.5 million. The product service code is S207, Housekeeping, Insect/rodent control. Potential offerors having the capabilities necessary to meet the needs of this requirement are invited to provide a capabilities statement. The capability statement shall include the following:
1. Company name and point of contact information
2. Unique Entity Identifier
3. Small Business Size/Certification (to include 8(a), HUBZone, EDWOSB, etc)
4. Description of capability to perform janitorial services
5. Past performance/experience on contracts of similar sizes
Note: If submitting past performance/experience on a project in the role of a subcontractor, include the primary contractors name and quantifiable amount(percentage) of the project your company contributed to the overall scope of work.
Interested parties can email their capabilities statements and relevant history to Don Richer at dricher@usbr.gov. Responses are due no later than Tuesday, May 20, 2025, 5 PM EST. All responses will be used to determine the appropriate acquisition strategy for a potential future acquisition. Response is strictly voluntary; no reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this sources sought notice or any follow-up information requests.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide the following deliverables:
1) A report with Histoplasma test results for the tests completed prior to the start date of services for buildings 1, 2 & 3, delivered in both Microsoft Word and/or Adobe Acrobat PDF formats to the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) within 15 calendar days after completion of services.

2) A report with Histoplasma test results for the tests completed after the completion of services for buildings 1, 2 & 3, also delivered in both Microsoft Word and/or Adobe Acrobat PDF formats to the COR within 15 calendar days after completion of services.

Period of Performance
The contract will have a one-year base period with four additional one-year option periods.
