IDIQ_Brush Removal

Background: This solicitation is for an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for brush removal services. The contract is being issued by the USGS OAG Sacramento Acquisition Branch, Modoc Hall, CSUS, with the goal of reducing vegetation-based fuel and applying fire abatement strategies surrounding specified sites. The contract will have a five-year ordering period.

Details: The work to be performed under this contract includes brush removal services. The Government will issue specific task orders for the services to be provided. The contractor will be responsible for completing the tasks outlined in the Statement of Work and the attached appendices, which include maps, wildfire landscape sites, site evaluation examples, and vegetation equipment examples. The pricing for the services will be based on the award document.

Period of Performance: The period of performance for this contract will be five years, starting from the date of award. The specific dates for each year are as follows:
- Base/year 1: 12/15/2023 to 12/14/2024 (estimated)
- Year 2: 12/15/2024 to 12/14/2025 (subject to availability of funding and continuing need)
- Year 3: 12/15/2025 to 12/14/2026 (subject to availability of funding and continuing need)
- Year 4: 12/15/2026 to 12/14/2027 (subject to availability of funding and continuing need)
- Year 5: 12/15/2027 to 12/14/2028 (subject to availability of funding and continuing need)
