GRSM Septic and Vault Pumping Services

Background
The Great Smoky Mountains National Park (GRSM), administered by the National Park Service (NPS), requires septic and vault pumping services to maintain sanitation and public health within the park. The goal of this contract is to ensure that all septic tanks and vault toilets are properly pumped, cleaned, and maintained, with waste disposed of legally and responsibly.

This service is crucial for the park's operations, as it supports the park's mission to provide a clean and safe environment for visitors.

Work Details
The contractor will provide septic tank pumping and vault toilet pumping services throughout the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Specific tasks include:
1. Thoroughly mixing and pumping to remove all solid contents from each septic tank listed in the provided tables.
2. Inspecting, cleaning, and refilling each vault toilet listed.
3. Transporting pumped material to a licensed disposal location outside of the park, with proof of disposal required prior to payment.
4. Ensuring that each site is operational, clean, and fit for public use before leaving the site.
5. Responding to requests for service from the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) within specified time frames: septic tanks must be pumped within seven business days and vault toilets within three business days of request.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed from July 1, 2026, to December 31, 2026.
