BLM-CO Grand Junction Janitorial Services with Options
The BLM-CO Grand Junction Air Center has a requirement for Janitorial Services. The building is approximately 6,460 square feet. Please see 'Attachment 1 Performance Work Statement' for more details.
Site visit (virtual and in-person) scheduled for August 29th at 11 am MT. Contract Type: FFP (Firm-Fixed Price) - no changes due to inflation, market conditions or higher than expected density of artifacts. Do some research prior to submitting a proposal.
Basic Contracting Requirements:
1. Active Registration www.sam.gov
2. Invoicing and Payment - www.ipp.gov - 30 day prompt pay after delivery
3. FAR Part 12 - Commercial Item
4. FAR Part 13 - Simplified Acquisition Procedures
5. Total Small Business Set-Aside for NAICS - 561720 - Size Standard $22
6. Award Basis - Price and Other Factors, including technical response and anticipated start date. We will be evaluating the technical portion on a basis of Does Not Meet, Meets or Exceeds what is requested in the PWS.

Background
The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Colorado Grand Junction Air Center requires janitorial services for its facility, which is approximately 6,460 square feet.

This contract is a follow-on to an ongoing requirement for janitorial services that support aviation and fire management operations in western Colorado and eastern Utah. The center plays a crucial role in fire management by providing tactical aircraft resources and collaborating with various agencies to mitigate wildfire risks. The goal of this contract is to maintain a clean and safe working environment, thereby enhancing the health and safety of aircrews and reducing vector and infestation risks associated with temporary lodging.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other non-personal services necessary to perform janitorial services as defined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). Services include:
1. Daily cleaning of restrooms, showers, and changing areas including disinfecting fixtures and replenishing supplies.
2. Weekly cleaning of office areas including emptying trash receptacles and maintaining floor cleanliness.
3. Monthly and semi-annual cleaning tasks as specified in the PWS.
4. Adherence to OSHA standards and commercial health practices for janitorial services.
5. Development of a Quality Control Plan to ensure compliance with service standards.

Period of Performance
The period of performance includes one base year of 12 months starting from September 16, 2024, with four additional 12-month option years.
