RUMGAU Radar A-Kits   2

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) has awarded a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract N0001920G0005-N0001923F0388 to Northrop Grumman Corporation - Aeronautics Systems (NGC-AS), San Diego, California, for the procurement of Redundancy UCARS and MAGNA-I GFP Anti-Jam Upgrades (RUMGAU) A-Kits and associated Non-recurring Engineering (NRE) in support of the MQ-8 Fire Scout program.

This acquisition was pursued on a sole-source basis under statutory authority of Title 10, U.S.C. Section 3204(a)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements." The determination by the Government not to compete this effort was solely within the discretion of the Government.
