Rubber Removal and Paint Striping   3

The purpose of this amendment is to:
1. Remove Attch 1 Statement of Work SOW Rubber Removal and Paint Striping dated 09 Feb 2021 and replace with Attch 1 dated 09 Aug 2021.
2. Remove Attch 2c UFGS 32 01 11.51 Rubber and Paint Removal From Airfield Pavements dated 05/16 and replace with Attch 2c dated 08/21.
3. Remove Attch 6 Schedule B - Price Schedule dated 02/12/2021 and replace with Attch 6 dated 08/09/2021.
4. Incorporate Sign-in Sheet from PreProposal Conference and Site Visit held on 29 July 2021.
5. Incorporate copy of Questions and Answered dated 09 Aug 2021.

The scope of this project consists of furnishing all labor, equipment, materials, transportation, supervision and testing to accomplish rubber removal and paint striping on all runways, taxiways, and associated pavements. Work to be performed shall include, but not be limited to: rubber removal by water-blasting, shot-blasting, sandblasting or chemical means, removal of painted markings, removal of joint sealant materials, re-facing of joint sealant reservoirs, application of airfield painted markings, application of self-leveling silicone, tooled silicone & preformed neoprene joint sealants, and incidental related work. Specific requirements for each job will be identified in individual delivery orders as issued by the government.

During the contract period, Base Civil Engineers will identify construction task orders and the Contracting Officer will negotiate and issue task orders. The performance time for each delivery order will be negotiated prior to award of each delivery order.

The Government intends to award a contract without discussions with respective offerors. The Government, however, reserves the right to conduct discussions if deemed in its best interest.
