RRMC Deming Vertical Turbine Pump

Background
The Washington Headquarters Services (WHS), Acquisition Directorate (AD) is issuing a Sources Sought Notice (SSN) for the procurement of a Deming Vertical Turbine Pump for the Raven Rock Mountain Complex (RRMC) located at 9200 Amber Drive, Fort Detrick, MD 21702. The purpose of this notice is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities, and qualifications of various industry members, including small businesses and other designated categories.

Work Details
The RRMC has a requirement to purchase one Deming Vertical Turbine Pump for the replacement of an existing pump. The specifications for the pump include: SD1010-20 discharge head with 1-1/2" packed box, 1 stage, 12XHE bowl assembly, 10" threaded columns x 1-1/2" by 5-foot sections, shafting 416SS, lead-free bronze or 316SS impellers (based on availability), NPT 10" basket strainer 316SS, motor shaft assembly.

The motor specifications are: 30 HP, 1800 RPM, 480V three phase, frame: 286TP, VHS, NRR, TEFC, CD=25.563", 16.5" base w/1-1/4" bore all SS HDWE no foundation plate OAL=32'9-1/8" entire pump to be NSF61 coated Scotchkote 134 duplicate to S/N T-91528-29 1950GPM @40'TDH.

The delivery date for the pump is specified as 150 days after award.
