Description

The Round Hill Cabins Stabilization Project includes the stabilization of three cabins at the Round Hill Pines Resort near South Lake Tahoe, NV. The work includes painting three cabins, new roofs on two cabins, stabilization of the foundation for one cabin, and window shutter installation. Pedestrian access to National Forest Lands must be maintained during the project implementation. This project will require coordination with the Round Hill Pines resort special use permit holder.

Magnitude

The Government's estimate for this requirement is $25,000 to $100,000.

Interested vendors must obtain complete solicitation package on SAM.gov, copies will not be mailed from this Contracting Office. All amendments will be posted on SAM.gov and vendors will be solely responsible for viewing the solicitation posting in SAM.gov for amendments to the solicitation.

This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract, nor does it obligate the Government to pay for any proposal preparation costs.

Background
The Round Hill Cabins Stabilization Project includes the stabilization of three cabins at the Round Hill Pines Resort near South Lake Tahoe, NV. The project will require coordination with the Round Hill Pines resort special use permit holder. The Government’s estimate for this requirement is $25,000 to $100,000. The United States Forest Service (USFS) is seeking quotations for roofing and other building construction as per the specifications. A single contract award will be made to the offeror that submits a quotation that has been determined to represent the best value based on an assessment of Technical/Management Approach, Past Performance, and Price.

Work Details
The work includes painting three cabins, new roofs on two cabins, stabilization of the foundation for one cabin, and window shutter installation.
Pedestrian access to National Forest Lands must be maintained during the project implementation.
Specifications include tasks such as mobilization, submittals, demolition and site clearing, aggregate materials, site concrete, rough carpentry, finish carpentry, waterproofing membrane, composite shingles, flashing and sheet metal, and painting.

Period of Performance
The Period of Performance for the contract is from 10/01/2023 to 09/30/2024.

Place of Performance
The construction projects will be performed at Round Hill Pines Resort in Lake Tahoe Basin Management Unit located at 300 Hwy 50, Zephyr Cove, NV 89448.
