Background
The contract is for roofing requirements at Fort Drum, New York. The project is set aside for certified HUBZone small business concerns and falls within the magnitude of $10,000,000 and $25,000,000 as per DFARS 236.204. The solicitation requires performance of the work described in the documents titled 'FORT DRUM ROOFING REQUIREMENTS CONTRACT'. Proposals are due by August 30, 2021, at 2:00 PM EDT.

Work Details
The contractor is required to provide all supervision, labor, equipment, materials, and appliances necessary to repair and replace existing roofs on various building structures located at Fort Drum. The work includes tasks such as removal and replacement of metal roof deck, wood roof substrate sheathing, wood roof soffit/eave framing and fascia board members, solid metal soffit covering, building fascia material, shingled roof system materials and/or metal roof system materials.
Additionally, it involves the installation of new roofing felts, a new structural standing seam metal roof (SSSMR) system, ridge vent system, ventilated eave covers and rake closures. The work also includes the installation of new wooden purlins and nailers over the existing rafters and roof area. All work shall result in each building or facility being watertight and impervious to the weather and its elements.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed from the date of contract award throughout the Base Period plus four (4) Option Years.

Place of Performance
The site of the proposed work is located in the Cantonment Area, Wheeler-Sack Army Airfield, and Range sections of Fort Drum, NY.
