ROOF REPLACEMENT, USCG HILLSBORO COTTAGE

The purpose of this Combined Synopsis/Solicitation is for Roof Replacement for Hillsboro Cottage 1. The requirements in accordance with the Scope of Work (SOW), the contractor shall provide all labor, materials, and equipment to perform the roof replacement. The contractor shall furnish trained, qualified personnel, and all required equipment. Contractor shall protect all equipment in work locations.

The completion of the Cottage Roof Replacement requirements are listed in the SOW. All additional costs associated with the replacement not included in the original quote shall be provided in writing prior to the start of the work for approval. Upon acceptance the Contractor shall commence work as per scheduled, the facility shall remain in operation throughout the service.

Prior to submitting a quote, it is mandatory to examine the complete scope of work and it's highly encouraged to visit the facility to take field measurements, evaluation, and become familiar with existing conditions under which the work will be performed. After the award of contract, a pre-conference will be held prior to starting the project at US Coast Guard Base Miami Beach.

The U. S. Government will not provide reimbursement for any information that may be submitted in response to this solicitation. Respondents are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this solicitation. The United States Coast Guard Contracting Office will evaluate all quotes and intends to satisfy this requirement through a formal acquisition process. All quotes must be received before the solicitation close. Please see the attached SOW and related documents for the specifics of the requirements.

The Government will award the contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation and most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The award is based on Best Value.
