Background
This solicitation is issued by the Embassy of the United States of America for roof repairs and insulation at the DOW Annex Offices located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The goal of the contract is to ensure the integrity and performance of the roofing system through necessary repairs and insulation work.

Work Details
The scope of work includes:
1. Removal of old waterproofing membrane, gutters, and drains.
2. Application of Spray Polyurethane Foam (SPF) with a minimum thickness of 5 cm, ensuring a density of 45 kg/m³.
3. Installation of a UV-resistant elastomeric waterproof coating in two contrasting colors (gray base coat and white topcoat) with a minimum dry film thickness (DFT) of 15 mils for each coat, totaling a minimum cured thickness of 30 dry mils across the roof area.
4. Repairing metal roofing which may involve removing old membranes and assessing the condition of existing panels (approximately 40% may require repair or replacement).
5. Replacement of AC duct insulation (20 m³) with specified technical standards to be provided post-award.
6. Dismantling and replacing 185 linear meters of galvanized gutters and downspouts, with specifications for profile and size to be determined by the vendor based on flow rate requirements.
7. Ensuring scaffolding is certified and safe for application, including proper landing areas and handrails.

Period of Performance
The contract performance period is anticipated to commence upon issuance of the Notice to Proceed (NTP), with an estimated duration of 25 working days.
